As the proud owner of a Dream Topper you're going to want to take good care of it.
The longevity of your Dream Topper depends on several factors, such as frequency of use, intensity of cleaning and how well it's cared for. To ensure it stays in top condition and lasts for as long as possible, make sure you follow these simple care instructions.
One-stage sanitising (recommended):
Two-stage sanitising:
WARNING: Wiping your topper with a product that contains alcohol or bleach will impact the longevity of the topper and void your warranty. (Noting that in most cases these products will also reduce the life of your therapy bed's vinyl.)
If required, the waterproof TPU fabric cover and attached valance can be removed and machine washed.
If you are going to wash the cover and valance, please make sure you follow these instructions:
Note: the soft memory foam is not machine washable. Excess moisture will weaken its viscosity and speed up the deterioration of the memory foam. To clean, use a mild soap to spot clean, lightly rinse off and gently squeeze out any excess water. Always air dry the foam away from direct sunlight or heat.
To make sure your Dream Topper is always wearing its Sunday best, place it on your therapy bed so that the valance hangs over the zip, keeping the zip out of sight.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact a Purifas team member.
Ensuring top-notch hygiene in therapy and allied health settings is vital for client safety. Shared equipment can easily lead to cross-contamination without strict hygiene protocols. Towels, frequently used in these environments, can harbour bacteria even after washing, posing risks to both clients and therapists. This guide will help you understand these risks, avoid common mistakes and implement the best hygiene practices, all while being environmentally conscious.
